Joseph Cierniewski is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Energy Sciences, Inc. since February 2012, specializing in the design and development of printed circuit board assemblies and firmware for high voltage electron beam acceleration equipment. Previous experience includes roles as a Test Engineer at Boston-Power, Inc. and MagneMotion, Inc., where hardware and software for production testing were maintained and developed. At General Dynamics Global Imaging Technologies, Joseph held the position of Electrical Engineer, focusing on the development and testing of electrical and electromechanical components. Earlier roles included Software Engineer at BAE Systems, where contributions were made to the Fire & Effects Planner project, and Design and Development Engineer II at Raytheon. Joseph began the engineering career as an Experimental Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand and as a Nuclear Engineer at ABB Combustion Engineering, contributing to various safety system designs. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University and two Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Western New England University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hartford.
