Louise Spain is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as Nurse Unit Manager for the Patient Transport Service and Lead of the Whole of Health Program at NSW Health since July 2020. Additionally, Louise holds the position of Advanced Practice Nurse (Emergency) at Canberra Health Services since July 2023. Louise's extensive roles in emergency nursing include previous positions as Nurse Unit Manager in the Emergency Department and Clinical Nurse Educator. In the educational sector, Louise contributes as an Instructor for the Australian Resuscitation Council and serves in leadership roles such as Chair of the ACT Branch and President of the CENA ACT Branch. Louise also engages with the academic community as an Associate Clinical Skills Tutor at the Australian National University and as a Sessional Academic at Australian Catholic University.
