Talesha M. has extensive experience in social services and community outreach, currently serving as the Director of Outreach Services at the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County since June 2018, after holding positions as Associate Director and Program Supervisor. Additionally, Talesha has worked as an Intensive In-Community Therapist with Empower U since November 2021 and coordinated Ocean County efforts for the Traumatic Loss Coalition from August 2022 to July 2023. Previous roles include Housing Recovery Specialist and Certified Financial Capabilities Coach at the Affordable Housing Alliance NJ, Behavioral Assistant and Family Partner at The Community YMCA, and Job Coach/Employment Specialist at LifeWorks. Talesha holds a Master of Social Work from Monmouth University, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Rutgers University - Newark, and an Associate of Arts in Social Sciences from Brookdale Community College.
