From 2020 to 2021, they were a Solar Sales Associate at 174 Power Global, where they researched and analyzed commercial and industrial solar policy and prospected clients. In 2019, Daniel worked as an Urban Planning Analyst at Localize.city, analyzing municipal data and zoning maps. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Sales Operations Manager at Brooklyn SolarWorks, managing inside sales and coordinating marketing and sales efforts. Daniel also worked as a Wind Turbine Policy Analyst at Invenergy LLC in 2017, researching wind turbine setbacks regulations and evaluating risks associated with wind energy production. In 2016, they were a Media Outreach Specialist at The Hastings Group, developing media outreach plans and communicating client interests. Daniel also has experience in horticulture as a Horticulture Intern at Broadway Mall Association in 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Wet Weather Planning Intern at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, researching stormwater management plans and participating in field work. In 2010, Daniel interned at the Brooklyn Borough Presidents Office.
Daniel Murphy attended Cornell University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental and Sustainability Science.
