Bruce Friedberg, MD, currently serves as the Director and Emergency Medicine Physician at Palomar Medical Center and Emergent Medical Associates since August 2021. With a long-standing tenure at Vituity since 2002, Bruce has held several roles, including Assistant Director and Attending Emergency Medicine Physician. Prior experience includes working as an Attending Emergency Medicine Physician at Kaiser Permanente from 2001 to 2002 and as an Emergency Medical Technician at Century Ambulance Service, Inc. from 1992 to 1994. Bruce holds an Executive MBA in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University. Additionally, Bruce completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Los Angeles County King/Drew Medical Center and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Queens College.
