Christy Zuelsdorf has a robust background in scientific research and education, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Emergent BioSolutions since May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as an R&D Chemist II at Nephron Pharmaceuticals and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Christy taught undergraduate courses in Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. Earlier positions include mentoring adolescents at Crossroads, serving as a Student Ambassador at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and various customer service roles at Old Navy and Michael's Arts and Crafts. Christy has also contributed as a volunteer at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Novant Health. Christy holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
