Dr. Muhammad Hammad Tahir currently serves as the Vice Chair and Associate Director in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern Medicine since 2018, while also practicing as a Medical Doctor at EPMG-Emergency Physicians Medical Group. Previous experience includes working as a Hospitalist at Centegra Health System and Swedish American Hospital, as well as completing an Internal Medicine Residency at St Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital. Dr. Tahir's early career involved research as a Research Officer and Assistant Editor at Aga Khan University. Educational credentials include an MD from Aga Khan University and an Internal Medicine Residency from Wayne State University, along with undergraduate studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at Govt College University.
