Joe Hayes, DO MMM has a extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Joe began their career in 1988 as a Partner at Glenville Health Center, where they worked until 1996. From 1996 to 2008, they had their own Solo Medical Practice. In 2008, they joined Baptist Health Family Medical Care as a Physician until 2011. From 2011 to 2018, they served as the Associate Medical Director at Adelante Healthcare, where they were responsible for multiple sites and provided leadership for over 20 providers. Since 2018, they have been serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Omni Family Health, and in 2021, they also took on the role of co-Interim Chief Operations Officer.
Joe Hayes DO MMM graduated from Siena College in 1979, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Joe then attended NYIT/New York College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1979 to 1983, earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Joe Hayes completed a Rotating Medical Internship at Baptist Medical Center from 1983 to 1984. Joe went on to complete their residency training in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center from 1984 to 1988, becoming eligible for board certification in both specialties. In 2014, they attended Managing Ambulatory Healthcare II (MAHC II), an advanced course focused on ambulatory healthcare management. In the same year, Joe Hayes also received leadership training from the Advisory Board. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued medical and health management education from the American Association of Physician Leadership. Joe Hayes then attended USC Marshall School of Business from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Medical Management degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, in 2017, they completed Clinical Director Training in Community Health and Preventive Medicine.
