Brianna Carmen serves as the Political Director at Emerge since October 2021, following a significant tenure at Voto Latino where roles included Senior Director of National Campaigns and Partnerships, Director of Organizing and Partnerships, and National Organizer, focusing on campaign strategy, partnerships, and community engagement. Prior experience includes positions as a Human Rights Legal Fellow at Annunciation House, Campaign Coordinator and Interim Campaign Manager for Beto for Texas, Campaign Manager for the Beto O'Rourke for Congress Committee, and a Congressional Intern for the Office of Congressman Beto O'Rourke. Brianna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Certificate in Emerging Leaders Seminar from Yale School of Management.
