Robert Gambrel began their career in 2008 as a Client Advocate and Paralegal at the Tennessee Justice Center. In 2011, they became a Graduate Assistant at the University of Minnesota. In 2015, they took on the role of Health Policy Data Analyst at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2016, Gambrel became a Data Scientist and Data Specialist at Intermedix, where they used a variety of software and machine learning technology to generate predictive analytics from healthcare claims data. In 2018, they joined Embold Health as a Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, and Director of Data Science. In this role, Gambrel has helped stand up and deploy every aspect of the company's analytics product, program and test measures of performance, model provider-level outcomes, and prepare results to present to customers. Robert is also a leader in the company's continuous development efforts to improve and expand all areas of its core analytics and develop new products.
Robert Gambrel has an extensive education history. Robert began their studies in 2000 at Creighton Preparatory School, and then went on to attend Vanderbilt University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a BA in Public Policy and International Relations. Robert continued their education at the University of Minnesota, earning a Master's Degree in Comparative Political Economy and Applied Economics between 2011 and 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
