David Buttress is an accomplished business leader and investor, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at OVO since May 2024 and holding the position of Chairman and Owner of Dragons RFC since October 2023. As a Venture Partner at 83North since May 2017, David supports early-stage entrepreneurs and businesses, in addition to being an angel investor and board member for multiple companies, including elmenus and Karvi. David has also served as Non-Executive Chairman of Zava and taken on advisory roles with various organizations, including a recent tenure as Entrepreneurship Ambassador at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts from Middlesex University and an honorary doctorate in Entrepreneurship from the same institution.
