Vanessa Betancur-Cadavid has work experience in two different companies. From 2021 to the present, they have worked at Ellevation Education, initially as a Product Support Specialist and later promoted to the role of Senior Product Support Specialist. In these roles, they have overseen support for major partners, managed multiple projects simultaneously, provided training to junior team members, and provided excellent customer support on various topics. Prior to this, they worked at City Year from 2020 to 2021 as an Americorps Member. In this role, they encouraged student engagement, supported instruction in a middle school classroom, developed lesson plans for differentiated instruction, and implemented study techniques for improved test scores.

Vanessa Betancur-Cadavid earned their Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of South Florida, where they attended from 2016 to 2020.
