Marcel Jongerius is an experienced director in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Director of Global Manufacturing Minerals and Managing Director of Elementis Minerals B.V. since 2020. In this role, Marcel Jongerius focuses on developing a comprehensive manufacturing strategy that enhances safety, quality, sustainability, productivity, and cost-efficiency, while overseeing long-term goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Previously, Marcel Jongerius held the position of Operations Director EU at Elementis GmbH, where talent assessment and inter-departmental relationships were prioritized to optimize operations. Prior experience also includes leading operational strategies as Head of Operations NL at Mondo Minerals and serving as COO at MAS Holding B.V., where project management and safety compliance were key focuses.
