Matthias Eckermann serves as the Chairman of the Board at ELDICO Scientific AG since July 2023, focusing on representing shareholder interests and driving international expansion. As a Managing Director and Director Finance Insurance at wefox Insurance, responsibilities encompassed overseeing a finance team, accounting, reporting, and supporting new market entries. Matthias also served as Chief Financial Officer at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from October 2014 to January 2022, managing a large international life insurance operation. Prior experience includes key roles in M&A at Zurich, as Director at Perella Weinberg Partners, and as an associate at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Finance and Financial Management Services and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, both from Technische Universität Dresden.
