Charlie Gerten is a Senior Engineer at EirGrid Group, specializing in Transmission Power System Planning with a focus on power system studies for wind and solar generators since June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at Ulteig, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of engineering systems, and as an Engineering Intern at Xcel Energy, assisting with distribution system improvements. Charlie also held roles in operations and support at the University of St. Thomas, including Operations Manager and Resident Advisor, and gained early experience as an Electrical Integration Intern at Seagate Technology and a Regional Coordinator at the Saint Paul Farmers Market. Charlie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, completed in 2017.
