Shiqiang Ye is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and technical performance within the power generation sector. Currently serving as a Senior Civil Engineer in Central Engineering at Ontario Power Generation, Shiqiang has held various roles including Senior Technical Officer for Performance & Testing and Senior Plant Engineer in Plant Engineering Services. Prior to this, experience includes a position as Sr. Engineer at BC Hydro and serving as a Permafrost Scientist at Natural Resources Canada. Academic contributions consist of Postdoctoral Research roles at both the University of Manitoba and Clarkson University, highlighting a strong background in research and development.
