Maria Cleofe Merico has over a decade of work experience in the field of sustainability and project management. Maria Cleofe has worked for EidosMedia as a Sustainability & Project Management Officer since 2016. Prior to that, Maria worked as an independent consultant, specializing in providing organizations with tools and expertise to manage their social and environmental impacts. Maria Cleofe has also worked as a Researcher Fellow at CIRIAF, focusing on sustainable development and environmental sustainability, and as a PhD student in Energy Engineering at the Biomass Research Centre - CRB. Overall, Maria's experience encompasses a range of roles and responsibilities in the field of sustainability and energy engineering.

Maria Cleofe Merico has a diverse education history. Maria Cleofe obtained a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Perugia. Maria Cleofe then attended the Scuola edile di Perugia for one year, where they specialized in activities related to environmental and built environment surveying. Following this, Maria pursued a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering at the Biomass Research Centre - CRB, also affiliated with Università degli Studi di Perugia.

Continuing their education, Maria completed a program at the Industrial Liaison Office (ILO), where they obtained a degree in TT (Transfer of Technology). This program focused on economics, European policies, technology transfer methodologies, and corporate property. Finally, Maria attended the NYU-POLY Polytechnic Institute of NYU for a short period to study Measuring and Managing Corporate Sustainability. Their coursework in this field encompassed the green economy, management, sustainable processes, and green buildings.
