Rick Kopnisky has worked in the technology industry since 2003. From 2003 to 2004, they held a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, a contract position through Kelly Services. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Software Consultant at Charles Schwab and a Senior Software Consultant at Yahoo, both contract positions through TEKSystems. In 2006, they were a Senior Data Analyst at Novalux, Inc. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Applications Architect at TransUnion. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Senior Software Architect at the US Army Corps of Engineers. From 2010 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Micron Technology. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Technology at Electronic Health Network, Inc.
Rick Kopnisky received their BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989-1991, followed by an MS in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University in 1993-1995. Rick then obtained two certificates from the University of California Extension in Santa Cruz, one in Database Systems and Concepts and the other in Object-Oriented Programming Using Java, both in 2000-2002.
