Hack Heyward has a wealth of experience in the fuel cell and hydrogen energy industries. Hack began their career in 2011 as the Director of International Marketing at Pactera, where they were responsible for special projects, diplomatic liaison, copy-writing, web marketing, and organizing IT industry events in the Beijing area. Hack then moved on to Element 1 in 2013 as a China Reformed Methanol Fuel Cell Technologies Consultant. In 2014, they became the Director of International Fuel Cell Operations at Nowogen. From 2018 to 2019, they held various roles at Loop Energy Inc., TrendBank, Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology, and Grove/YC Synergy, including China FCEV Business Development, Hydrogen Energy Research Director, China Maritime Fuel Cells Director, and China Stationary Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Storage Consultant. In 2020, they were a Lecturer on China Hydrogen Energy & Fuel Cell Technology at World Hydrogen Leaders and China Reformed Methanol Fuel Cell Telecom Power Solutions Director at SerEnergy A/S. Hack currently serves as the China Automotive Fuel Cell Strategy Director at EH Group.
Hack Heyward received a Bachelor's degree in International Economics & Chinese from Trinity University between 2006 and 2010. In 2008, they studied International Trade at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Chinese at Dalian University of Foreign Languages, where they also obtained a Master's degree. In October 2009, Heyward was awarded a Certificate of Chinese Proficiency from the National Chinese Proficiency Test Council.
