Feng Li is a Senior Computational Biologist at eGenesis, Inc. since January 2022, specializing in genome assembly, CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing analysis, structure variant detection, and gene expression analysis using advanced sequencing technologies. Previously, Feng worked as a Bioinformatician at Mayo Clinic, focusing on developing bioinformatics pipelines for clinical genome sequencing. Feng's early career included roles as a Postdoctoral Associate and PhD Student at the University of Minnesota, where significant contributions to whole genome sequencing and computational biology were made. Feng also gained experience at CSIRO and participated in a summer program at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Educational credentials include a PhD in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree from China Agricultural University, with ongoing studies at Harvard Extension School.
