Katie Ard has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie is currently the Director of Development Operations at eFFECTOR Therapeutics, Inc. Katie'srole involves overseeing and managing the company's development operations. Prior to this, Katie worked as an Associate Project Director at Newave Pharmaceutical, Inc. where they were responsible for managing and overseeing deliverables for multiple clinical trials, primarily in the early phase. Katie also served as the Development Director at Faith Community Pharmacy, where they managed grant funding operations, fundraising projects, and volunteer recruitment. Prior to that, Katie worked as a Paralegal at Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss.

Katie Ard obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Katie then pursued a Master's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Xavier University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their university education, Katie attended Notre Dame Academy from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the Medidata Rave Certified Clinical Research Professional, obtained in May 2017, the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), obtained in December 2015, and the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification, obtained in April 2012.
