Vera Voronina is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in project management and scientific operations. Currently serving as Associate Director of Project Management at BioNTech SE since August 2021, Voronina previously held the position of Associate Director of Research Scientific Operations at Kite Pharma and served as Associate Director at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where significant contributions were made in developing platforms for fully human biologics. Prior roles included Senior Staff Scientist and Staff Scientist, where Voronina led projects focused on human antibody therapeutics and the generation of humanized mice. Earlier research at the University of Washington involved developing a mouse model for chronic respiratory disease, while work at the National Cancer Institute established insights into early eye development.
