Elizabeth Heubeck is an accomplished staff writer and contributing reporter with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Since January 2020, Elizabeth has focused on K-12 education issues for Education Week while also contributing to The Washington Post’s wellness and parenting sections since October 2018. Previously, Elizabeth wrote about Annapolis homes for Annapolis Home Magazine and managed multiple client projects as a freelance writer and communications consultant from 2000 to 2022. Notable roles include media and communications consultant at The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, managing editor of Baltimore's Child, and website content manager for Symmetry Agency. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in English from UMBC and an M.A. in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore.
