Farhaad Sain currently serves as the Head of Economic Development Strategy & Reporting and as a B-BBEE Practitioner at EDF Renewables in South Africa since July 2023. Previously, Farhaad worked as a Portfolio Manager at Engeli Enterprise Development from June 2019 to June 2023, as a Verification Analyst at BDO South Africa from March 2018 to April 2019, and as a Financial Business Analyst at BNY Mellon between April 2015 and April 2017. Additional experience includes a role as a CSR Consultant at FNB South Africa in 2013 and an internship at Edcon in 2011. Farhaad holds a Bachelor of Commerce Postgraduate Honours degree in Economics as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Undergraduate degree in Business Management and Economics, both from Nelson Mandela University, and completed matriculation at Grey High School.
