Piet Holtrop is an experienced Energy Transition Attorney based in Spain, currently serving as the President of EquanimityEnergy and holding the title of Energy Transition Attorney at HOLTROP S.L.P since November 2008. With a significant focus on the intersection of renewable energy and regulatory law, Holtrop has also contributed as an External University Teacher at UPC School and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In addition, Holtrop serves as Vice President of the International and European Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association and is an active board member and advisor for various organizations, including Pylon Network and ECrowd!. With extensive legal experience in the renewable energy sector and a strong academic background, including a degree in International Law from the University of Groningen, Holtrop is dedicated to advancing legal interests within the energy transition landscape.
