Fabien Rioult has a diverse work experience in various industries. Fabien is currently the Vice President of Product Management & Marketing at Ecovyst, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of New Business Development at Zeolyst International. From 2007 to 2019, they held multiple roles at BASF, including Corporate Business Development Manager and Global New Business Development Manager. In these roles, they played a key role in the company's growth in the "clean-air" market for catalysts and adsorbents. Fabien led the assessment of new business opportunities, developed business strategies, and identified potential partnerships. Fabien also served as a Staff Engineer, where they led projects related to development of diesel exhaust emission systems and provided training to customers and application engineers. Before joining BASF, they were a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Researcher at Alcan, where they contributed to major research projects.
Fabien Rioult completed their education in the following chronological order:
- From 1999 to 2002, they attended École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
- In the same period, they also obtained another M.S. degree in Engineering and Management from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
- Fabien pursued a Ph.D. at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne from 2002 to 2005, specializing in Chemical and Process Engineering.
- From 2005 to 2007, they had a postdoctoral fellowship in Materials Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
- Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Penn State University from 2014 to 2015.
