Abu Forhad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the garment industry. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at ECHOTEX LIMITED since December 2020, Abu oversees audit processes in a company primarily owned by Echo Sourcing (Pvt) Limited, which specializes in producing and exporting ready-made garments to Europe and the USA. Prior to this role, Abu held the position of Director of Merchandising at EchoSourcing (Pvt) Ltd. from May 2003 to November 2020, contributing valuable insights that led to the transition to ECHOTEX. Earlier career experience includes working as a Product Manager at Li & Fung Bangladesh Ltd from January 2000 to April 2003. Abu Forhad holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, obtained between 1988 and 1992.
