Alex Cheng is a skilled Formulation/Material Process Engineer currently employed at E Ink Corporation since June 2021. Prior experience includes work as a Graduate Researcher in the Soft Materials Research Laboratory at UCLA, where Alex investigated electronic braille display applications and optimized bistable electroactive polymer formulations. Additional experience includes a Chemical and Materials Engineering internship at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where Alex focused on crystallization reactions and drug blend formulations, and an undergraduate role at UCLA developing hydrogel sensors. Earlier internships at United Technologies and Henkel involved software development and product formulation, respectively. Alex holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from UCLA, along with a high school diploma from Westford Academy.
