Rick Hargreaves is a Special Counsel at Duncan Cotterill, specializing in general civil litigation, employment, and insurance matters since March 2016. Previously, Rick served as Principal at Fortune Manning from August 2009 to February 2016, also focusing on litigation in similar areas. Rick's experience includes a tenure as a Senior Associate at DLA Phillips Fox (NZ) from June 2000 to July 2009, where expertise was developed in Commercial Dispute Resolution and Employment Law. Additionally, Rick worked as in-house counsel for the New Zealand Airline Pilots Association from June 1999 to September 2000, concentrating on employment law, collective negotiations, health and safety, and privacy law. Rick holds a BA, LLB, and MCom (1st class Honours) degree from The University of Auckland, earned between 1991 and 2003.
