Antoine "Tony" Johnson, PE has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Antoine "Tony" started their career at Carolina Power & Light Company as an Associate Engineer, completing a training program and gaining technical skills. Antoine "Tony" then worked as a Distribution Engineer, designing and implementing projects for system improvements and resolving power quality complaints.

Johnson joined Progress Energy Carolinas next, where they served as a Distribution Senior Engineer, supporting operations centers and performing feeder analysis for system performance improvements. Antoine "Tony" also excelled as a Resource Management Supervisor, successfully implementing the Resource Management pilot and leading a team responsible for coordinating resources and evaluating organizational performance.

Moving to Duke Energy Progress, Johnson held various managerial roles. As the Distribution Engineering Supervisor, they provided leadership for the management of distribution assets and developed business plans. Antoine "Tony" also served as the Distribution Vegetation Management Supervisor, overseeing maintenance activities and budget allocation. Johnson contributed to the merger integration between Duke and Progress Energy, leading teams responsible for developing contracting and organizational strategies for efficient vegetation management.

Presently, Johnson is with Duke Energy Corporation as the Vice President of Operations. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Director of Area Operations and Operations Manager. Through their comprehensive experience, Johnson has demonstrated their abilities in leadership, strategic thinking, and effective management of resources and projects.

Antoine "Tony" Johnson, PE completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. Antoine "Tony" attended Clemson University from 1992 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from James Island High School in 1992. In addition to their formal education, Tony holds the Professional Engineer certification issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
