Catherine O'Donnell is an experienced professional in the field of creative engagement and education within the cultural sector. Currently serving as the Head of Creative Engagement at Dublin City Council Culture Company since January 2023, O'Donnell previously worked at the National Gallery of Ireland from January 2018 to December 2022 as the Education Officer responsible for managing educational programming for schools and young people. Prior roles include Programme Manager and Engagement & Events Officer at People's History Museum, where O'Donnell developed exhibitions and outreach initiatives, as well as various positions focusing on audience engagement and project coordination. O'Donnell holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education Studies from Trinity College Dublin, an MA in Art Gallery & Museum Studies from The University of Manchester, and a BA in Combined Studies from Newcastle University.
