CJ Smith is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network and security engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Niantic, Inc. since August 2022, CJ has previously held various roles including Senior Network Engineer at Schrödinger, Network Engineer III at BLUE ORIGIN, and Infrastructure Engineer at Uptake. CJ's career began at Trading Technologies, where multiple positions included Network Engineer and Senior Network Administrator among others. Early experience includes IT Support and Computer Technician at the University of Pittsburgh's Physics Department. CJ holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Pittsburgh, completed in 2010.
