Miguel Otero Pedrido has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Miguel started their career as a data science intern at BBVA Data & Analytics from September 2016 to July 2017. Following that, they worked at Smart energy assets as a machine learning engineer and data scientist from September 2017 to February 2021. In 2020, they co-founded UNMATTER and held the role of co-founder until December of the same year. Afterwards, they joined Altostratus Cloud Consulting as a machine learning engineer from February 2021 to August 2021. Miguel then moved on to work as a senior machine learning engineer at BBVA AI Factory from August 2021 to May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of senior machine learning engineer at Dressipi starting from May 2023.

Miguel Otero Pedrido has a diverse education history in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Miguel completed their Máster Universitario en Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo starting in 2020, and they are currently pursuing this degree. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2017, they earned a Máster en Big Data y Data Science en Finanzas from Afi Escuela, specializing in Data Science and Finanzas. Miguel also holds a Grado en Física from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, which they obtained from 2011 to 2016, specializing in Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Miguel has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Miguel achieved the TensorFlow Developer Certificate from the TensorFlow Certificate Program in March 2021. Prior to this, they obtained the Practical Time Series Analysis certification from Coursera in November 2019. In June 2019, they received the Big Data Hadoop and Spark Developer certification from Simplilearn. In February 2019, they completed the Programa Especializado - Deep Learning from Coursera. Furthermore, Miguel acquired the Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform certification from Coursera in January 2018 and the Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals certification in September 2017.
