Simon Rees is a seasoned Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and project management across multiple sectors. Currently at DRA Global since January 2022, Simon leads engineering and design teams for mining EPCM consultancy, focusing on feasibility studies and project execution for green and brownfield sites. Prior roles include managing local and international design teams at Heat and Control Inc., and serving as a Regional Senior Engineer at Cameron, a Schlumberger company, where Simon provided technical expertise in surface equipment operations across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. Simon began a career in project and design with GE Oil & Gas and Electrolux, underscoring a robust background in manufacturing engineering and product development. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours from the University of Adelaide.
