Cathy Budd is the Chief Purchasing Officer and Purchasing Vice President at Dow since August 2019, overseeing 650 professionals in the sourcing of $20 billion in raw materials and logistics while managing $40 billion in supplier invoicing and payments. Cathy drives sustainable growth through supplier ESG efforts, focusing on Scope 3 emissions and supplier diversity. Prior to this role, Cathy had a 29-year tenure at The Dow Chemical Company, where positions included Global Director of Supply Chain Innovation, Business Supply Chain for Industrial Solutions, and Building and Construction, among others, leading various transformative initiatives that yielded significant improvements in supply chain performance and efficiency. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and is accredited in APICS and CPIM.
