Michael Stevens has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Michael began their career in 1990 as a Computer Operator at GEICO before transitioning to a Claims Service Representative role. Michael then worked as a LAN Administrator and Technical Support Specialist for three years. In 1997, they joined Alternative Resources Corporation as a Help Desk Coordinator and PC Specialist, eventually becoming a Help Desk Administrator.
In 2000, Michael joined ACS, a Xerox Company, as a Help Desk Supervisor. Michael later became a Project Manager for the Desktop and LAN Services Team and eventually took on the role of Manager and Director of the Messaging and Collaboration Engineering Team. In this position, they provided support and design for various messaging platforms and infrastructure products. Michael also managed a team of up to 50 engineers and was responsible for service delivery and daily operations.
In 2011, Michael joined Atos, initially as a Product Engineer in the Cloud Services startup group. Michael was later promoted to Manager of the Cloud Product Engineering team. In 2015, they transitioned to the End-User Computing Services Team, focusing on Virtual Desktop and Workspace solutions delivered from cloud-based platforms.
From 2015 to 2021, Michael worked at Velocity Technology Solutions as a Build Program Manager. Michael managed the Infrastructure team's project portfolio and coordinated between various complex initiatives and deliverables. Michael also had responsibilities such as coordinating infrastructure and cloud DevOps teams, designing and managing ServiceNow catalog requests, and establishing a capacity management process.
Most recently, Michael joined Cloud Transformation Consultants in 2021 as a Program Manager. Michael has been responsible for managing programs and overseeing their successful delivery.
In 2022, Michael started working at Donyati as an Enterprise Program Manager, where they currently hold a role.
Michael Stevens attended the University of North Texas from 1986 to 1992, where they studied Business Computer Information Systems. In 1999, they pursued further education at Southern Methodist University, specifically in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. Michael obtained additional certifications such as the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in July 2019, and the Google Cloud Digital Leader certification from Google in June 2022.
