Ram Vaithilingam is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in observability and reliability engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at DocuSign since 2023, Ram previously held key positions at notable companies including Stripe and Netflix, where leadership roles focused on observability engineering were undertaken. Prior to these roles, Ram contributed to Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineering Manager for Azure, overseeing cloud infrastructure management tools and services. Ram's early career included positions at Nortel Networks, where responsibilities involved the design and automation of forecasting systems, and at ESRI and the University of North Texas, where research encompassed VoIP technologies and automatic calibration units. Ram holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Anna University Chennai and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of North Texas.
