Vlad M. has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. Vlad began their career in 2005 as a Senior Consultant for SRA International, where they were involved in interviewing, leading/coaching, architecting and designing enterprise applications. In 2007, they moved to Aquilent as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they were part of a large team in charge of delivering a web software procurement solution to various government clients. In 2013, they joined Anais Software Services as a Software Development Manager, delivering solutions for Kapitol-Infobel, EVCA, Fremantle Media, RTL, LeFigaro (enterprise) and RetailDrive, KeyTimer (startups). In 2016, they started working at Amazon as a Software Development Manager, globally launching the Spend Visibility tool. Additionally, they worked as a Principal Technical Consultant for Freelancer. In 2018, they joined Eventbrite as a Sr. Engineering Manager. In 2020, they moved to Springer Nature as an Engineering Manager. Finally, they are currently working at Glovo as an Engineering Manager, managing engineering teams in both Madrid Spain and Warsaw Poland, and delivering a new Customer <> Courier chat application (iOS, Android) in more than 1300 cities to millions of users.

Vlad M. attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2005, earning a Master's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Economics from Academia de Studii Economice din București between 1991 and 1996.
