Andrei Gaidam is an experienced professional in hardware development and engineering, currently serving as Managing Partner at Disentra since February 2020, where a new hardware development team was established to create next-generation imaging applications. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Electrical Engineer at Detection Technology, overseeing the development of data acquisition systems for multi-energy X-ray detectors, and positions at Apple focused on semiconductor testing and hardware design. Gaidam also worked as a Hardware Specialist at Dialog Semiconductor, managing a team specializing in power integrity simulations, and as a Hardware Design Engineer for both tecnotron elektronik gmbh and Bavaria Digital Technik GmbH, where expertise in high-reliability board design and manufacturing optimization was demonstrated. Early career experience includes hardware design for backplanes at Schroff T.R. Backplane Design SRL. Gaidam holds a degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
