Benjamin Bammes began their career in 2004 as the Director of Research & Technology and Information Technology Manager at Certified Environmental Management, Ltd. In 2011, they became the Owner / President of Bammes Enterprises, LLC, and also took on the role of Director of Research & Development at Direct Electron. In this role, they were responsible for planning, developing, and testing new CMOS image sensors, camera systems, software, and accessories for electron microscopy, and regularly attended scientific conferences and collaborated with scientists around the world. In 2015, they became the Teaching Pastor at LifePoint Church of Pearland.
Benjamin Bammes began their educational journey in 1991 at Topeka Collegiate School, where they completed their elementary and middle school education. In 1997, they moved on to Washburn Rural High School, where they completed their high school education. In 2001, they earned a B.S. in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Engineering from The University of Kansas. Finally, in 2006, they earned a Ph.D. in Structural & Computational Biology & Molecular Biophysics from Baylor College of Medicine.
