Sharon Oh is a staff scientist and process engineer at DiCon Fiberoptics since June 2021, with extensive experience in nanofabrication and MEMS design. Previously, Sharon held the role of physicist postdoctoral fellow at Berkeley Lab, where work focused on the nanofabrication of X-Ray optics, and served as an experimental research associate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, achieving ultra-high aspect ratio silicon microstructures. Sharon's earlier positions included senior specialist at A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, senior lab officer at IBN, and senior research engineer at Photonics Concepts, where expertise in MEMS design and fabrication was developed. Education includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, an MSc in Applied Science and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BSc in Engineering Physics from the same institution.
