Barbara Hladik is the Director of Human Resources at Dicalite Management Group. Barbara is responsible for directing all of the people functions in accordance with the policies and practices of DMG, and the laws, regulations and other regulatory and advisory authorities. Barbara participates in the development of DMG's plans and programs as a strategic partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on our team members. Barbara evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning to ensure the attraction, motivation, development and retention of our people resources. Barbara develops progressive and proactive compensation and benefit programs while continually assessing the competitiveness of our benefit package. Barbara enhances, develops, implements and enforces HR polices and procedures by way of systems that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company. Barbara establishes credibility throughout the company to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues. Barbara maintains knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws and issues.
Before their current position, Ms. Hladik was Of Counsel at Harrington & Caldwell, PC for 26 years. Barbara was also the Director of Human Resources at Delaware Valley University for 3 years. At Delaware Valley University, they developed and implemented HR strategic plan by identifying and researching issues, conducting and contributing information analyses, and recommendations to provide direction and establish human resources objectives in line with university’s overall strategic plan and mission. Barbara established departmental accountabilities enhancing and expanding the delivery of HR services to the employees including on-line performance/talent management, automated time and attendance, automated PTO, automated talent acquisition/recruiting, on-boarding and paperless pay statements. Barbara also ensured compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by studying existing and new legislation, monitoring changes in legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Barbara Hladik attended Widener University Commonwealth Law School, where they earned their degree in law. Barbara also attended the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where they earned their BBA in accounting. Lastly, they attended Mt. St. Joseph Academy, where they earned their high school diploma in college prep.
