Jonathan Bury has held a variety of roles in the media industry since 1999. Jonathan began their career at Gameplay as a Business Development Manager, followed by a similar role at DC Interact in 2001. In 2004, they joined TEAMtalk Media as a Business Development Manager, where they were responsible for delivering sports related content services, developing new content, and creating and managing content partnerships. In 2006, they moved to News International as a Commercial Partnership Manager. Two years later, they joined Mirror Group Newspapers as the Head of Online Commercial Partnerships. From 2013 to 2018, they were the Head of Business Development International AOL and Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships. Jonathan was responsible for leading AOL's International Business Development and growing end-to-end usage of AOL's platform, as well as signing a news content distribution deal. In 2018, they joined Thomson Reuters as the Director on Platform Commercial Development and Head of Strategic Partnerships. Jonathan was responsible for developing global strategic partnerships across Reuters Consumer facing properties. In 2021, they became the Head of Publisher Commercial Development at Dianomi.
Jonathan Bury attended the University of Westminster from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a BA in Social Sciences.
