Michael McPadden

Michael McPadden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael started their career in 1989 as a Staff Accountant at Dworken Hillman LaMorte & Sterczala, P.C. and later worked as a Senior Accountant. Michael then transitioned to Elizabeth Arden, where they served as a Sales Commission Processing Clerk and later as a Sales Administration Supervisor.

In 1995, McPadden joined Gartner, Inc. as a Sr. Desktop Publisher and later became a Web Developer. Michael then worked at DSL.net as a Web Developer from 2000 to 2004 before joining Modem Media as a Consultant in Web Development.

From 2005 to 2015, McPadden worked at Tangoe in various roles. Michael started as a Software Engineer/UI Developer, responsible for designing and maintaining user interface screens. Michael then served as a Sr. Software Engineer/Scrum Master, leading UI design and development for Tangoe's product innovation team. Later, they became a Lead Scrum Master, overseeing globally-distributed teams and leading Scrum of Scrums teams for integrations. During their tenure at Tangoe, they created Jira projects and managed user administration.

In 2020, McPadden joined Datto, Inc. as a Senior Scrum Master, where they designed and implemented an Agile improvement plan for the e-commerce team. Michael also created Jira dashboards to track progress.

More recently, McPadden joined Device42 in 2020, where they served as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, establishing and leading an Agile program for engineering and product management professionals. Michael provided leadership with Jira dashboards and filters to prioritize tasks and identify risks. Currently, as a Sr. Project Manager/Scrum Master, they are coaching teams in establishing sound Agile practices and piloting probabilistic forecasting tools.

Overall, Michael McPadden has extensive experience in project and team management, Agile methodologies, UI design and development, and web development.

Michael McPadden completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University, which they attended from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various agile methodologies. These certifications include Professional Agile Leadership (PAL I) from Scrum.org, obtained in September 2020; Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) from Scrum.org, obtained in June 2020; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance, obtained in October 2017; and Certified SAFe 5 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) from Scaled Agile, Inc., obtained in May 2020.
