Isabel Wang

Chief Operating Officer and Founding Board Member at Develop for Good

Isabel Wang is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Isabel began their career in 2010 as an SAG-AFTRA E Actor for Media Artists Group. In 2017, they became the Chief Technology Officer for United Students for Veterans' Health, where they spearheaded a legacy project focusing on students sharing veterans' life lessons and mental health issues. In 2019, they joined the SPARK Lab for Children's Adaptation and Resilience at the Stanford Graduate School of Education as a Research Assistant. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, as well as the Chief Operating Officer and Founding Board Member of Develop for Good, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit striving to create social impact by developing free mobile and website applications for nonprofit organizations. Isabel also held roles as a Product Manager for Internet of Good Things, User Interface Designer and User Experience Researcher for U-Report, and Onboarding Wireframes User Experience Designer for HaloBeba at UNICEF, User Interface Designer and Developer for Cancer Collective at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Product Manager for a Chronic Health Nutrition App at AARP. In 2021, they became a Health Policy Fellow in the Division of Health Care Quality and Outcomes at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and a Founding Adventurer at Adventures In Syncopation.

Isabel Wang is currently enrolled in Stanford University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSH) in Symbolic Systems, with a concentration in Decision Making and Rationality, and notation in Cardinal Service. In 2020, they completed the Bing Overseas Studies Program at the University of Oxford, focusing on Theoretical Neuroscience and Behavioral Economics. Prior to that, they attended the Pre-College Scholars Program at Case Western Reserve University in 2016 and 2017. Isabel also holds a High School Diploma from Shaker Heights High School, obtained in 2017. In addition, they have a Fundamentals of TESOL certification from the TESOL International Association, which they obtained in August 2022.
