Jennifer K. Snyder, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of digital experience and interactive media in the arts and cultural sector. Their most recent role is as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at the Detroit Institute of Arts, a position they began in 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Digital Experience at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they led a team responsible for overseeing all public-facing digital communication tools and implemented technology change management to unify the museum's digital strategy.

Jennifer K. Snyder, Phd began their education at The University of Georgia from the year 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History/Political Science. Following this, they attended the University of Florida from 2004 to 2007 and achieved a Masters of History degree, specializing in Early America. Jennifer further pursued their academic career at the University of Florida from 2007 to 2013, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Early American/African American history.
