Sergio Osvaldo Zapata Zerega has extensive experience in the marketing and revenue management sectors, currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Despegar since September 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing P&L for $4.1 billion in annual sales, developing revenue management and pricing systems, and creating pricing methodologies for new products. Prior to this role, Sergio held multiple positions at LATAM Airlines from January 2012 to September 2018, including Senior Manager and Manager of Revenue Management, where strategy and process creation aimed at maximizing profitability for routes within South America and internationally were key focuses. Sergio holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering from Universidad de Chile, earned between 2006 and 2011.
