Art Walker has a strong work history as a software engineer, working in various roles and companies throughout their career. Art started their career at Westinghouse as a software engineer in 1980 and stayed there until 1996. After that, they worked as a consultant at Sycom for a year before joining Essex Corporation as a software engineer from 1997 to 1999. Walker then moved on to Aether Systems, where they worked as a senior software engineer from 1999 to 2005. Art continued their career at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc as a senior software engineer from 2005 to 2007. Walker then joined AirVersent, Inc as a principal software engineer from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked at Airclic as a principal software engineer from 2010 to 2014. Currently, they are employed at Descartes Systems Group as a principal software engineer.
Art Walker attended Loyola University Maryland from 1990 to 1992, earning a Master's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1980, they studied at the University at Buffalo and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
