Esther Miller is a Senior Scientist at DermBiont, Inc., having previously worked as a Co-Founder Scientist and Microbiology Lead at BrickBuilt Therapeutics Inc. Esther gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tufts University, where Esther used various methods to study microbial diversity in fermented vegetable products. Prior to that, Esther worked as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Oxitec and as a Science Communicator at The Oxford Trust. Esther also has experience as a Biology Teacher and STEM Coordinator at The Cooper School. Esther's research experience includes work as a Research Assistant at the University of Sydney and the University of Oxford, where Esther investigated collective behavior in locusts and conducted experiments on functional ecology. Esther holds a BA in Biology from the University of Oxford, a PGCE in Teacher Training from Bath Spa University, and a PhD in Microbiology from Tufts University.
