David Sherret has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. David is currently working as a Software Developer at Deno since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Engineering Manager - Data Insights at AsTech - Automotive Service Technicians from March 2021 to May 2021, where they contributed to the transition of product development after the adasThink acquisition and supervised the development of the adasThink mobile app.

David co-founded adasThink in October 2020 and served as a Co-Founder until February 2021. David was responsible for implementing adasThink's software products for identifying ADAS calibrations and led the company to win the best new product in the collision category at SEMA 2020. adasThink was later acquired by asTech.

Before adasThink, David had a brief role as a Software Consultant at Synaptive Medical in September 2020. David also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Synaptive Medical from August 2016 to July 2020, contributing to the development of 3D desktop software for surgical planning and guidance in neurosurgery.

Prior to Synaptive Medical, David worked at Symbility Health from January 2013 to July 2016, where they held various roles ranging from Software Developer to Lead Developer. David contributed to the development of software solutions for insurance, drug, and health companies.

In addition, David worked as a Software Developer at Calisto Software from January 2012 to May 2015, primarily on a part-time basis. David also gained experience in the Department of National Defence as a Piper/Infanteer from January 2008 to September 2014, where they fulfilled various military duties and underwent leadership, physical, and musical training.

David started their professional career as a Software Developer at Sherret Inc. in June 2005 and worked part-time until August 2011. David developed recruiting software and desktop software using C#, ASP.NET, and PHP.

In their self-employed ventures since August 2008, David has developed projects using various technologies like C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, WPF, PHP, HTML, CSS, MS SQL, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery, Entity Framework. David has also worked with content management systems like Joomla, Concrete5, and Wordpress.
